team building exercises

team building exercises
Various interventions designed to increase the extent to which a work group functions as a team; that is, as a cohesive, united, emotionally bonded group in which individual inputs (skills, effort, personal characteristics) are combined to maximum effect in pursuit of the common goal. Such exercises usually involve an element of group problem solving, which may or may not be related to the usual professional activities of the group. See business games; outdoor training programme
